Tiananmen square, 25 years later. :/

Yes, a lot has changed in China in 25 years.  Some cities have completely changed.  Not only Beeing with the Olympics and Shanghai with the Expo World Fair.  Even far west, or south west like Chengdu, a place completely different of what we see and think of China has expanded over twice in size and population.
Some villages became huge cities and some booming places are now on hold.  Thousands and thousands of luxuous condominiums and office buildings are still unsold.  But some pictures reminds me more of Laz Vegas, Manhattan or other American city.  According to some alarming news messages, smog and air pollution in cities is getting unbelievable.  Car possession and use hasn't just doubled or quadrupled.  So, the economy is indeed booming and likely the fastest growing on earth.
I saw an article on the BBC World page stating that xxx million Chineese have Internet and zero are talking about this "anniversary".

Now that means something!  And yet, it's not clear to me.  Everyone is talking about the NSA and of course of Snowdon.  But what is going on in china nowadays?  Yes, like I mentioned, the BBC world does mention it as well as many other news Broadcasters in 10 secs and of course, Amnesty International doesn't forget to remind us 1989 Tiananmen Square.

But what troubles me is not that it's all peacefully (with an overkill of police force) on the square last days.  No, it's the simple fact that the Chineese government is likely having a ferm grip on Internet and social media we are not aware of. "Big brother" is really watching and thus really controlling the Chinese people in an Orwellian way.  Amnesty and Human Rights organizations do remind us but are obviously powerless in china. :/  Today Tiananmen Square IS news... For 10 secs.  And tomorrow? Business as usual!  Live and new news goos on.  So... That was the news, we will remember it again in 25 years. :(

Wilders wil zijn zakken vullen?

Afgezien van de dagelijkse rampen, branden, autocrashes en de dagelijkse vermeende schandalen en paparazzi foto's van celebreties die al dan niet met een blote kont of borst in de krant van wakker Nederland komen was er vandaag weinig nieuws.  Is het al komkommertijd? ;)
Uiteraard zijn er tig items die op zich wel interessant kunnen zijn en die ik zelfs persoonlijk herken zoals het tekort aan oplaadpunten voor elektrische auto's.  Maar dat is allemaal komkommers keuren. ;)
Maar één item haalde 5 seconden het NOS 8-uur journaal: Geert Wilders. Alweer! :(
Maar op zich was dat wel meer dan 5 seconden waard.  Daarom dit blogje! ;)

Het zal u wel bekend zijn - of zo niet, bij deze dan - ik ben een 100% pro Europa Europeaan! :)  Dat wil niet zeggen dat ik geen kritiek op Europa heb!!! In tegendeel.  Maar juist omdat het zogenaamd monster van de Europeese Unie nog steeds afhankelijk is van al die 28 minister presidenten, ministers van financiën, ministers buitenlandse zaken, van alle ministers van elk kut ministerie dus.

Ik ontving een Tweet van de SP vorige week donderdag: >>Een mooie dag om SP te stemmen! << waarop ik geantwoord heb: stemmen op SP of PVV voor het Europees Parlement tégen de EU?  Ik stem mooi Groen Links!  Maar D66 mag ook hoor.
En hoewel ik ook simpatiek t.o. de SP in NL ben, (eigenlijk meer voor Marijnissen) vind ik het onverteerbaar dat de SP méé met de PVV, , zakkenvullers naar Brussel willen afvaardigen.  Ben je tegen de EU?  Dan doe je dus niet mee!
Dat ware fascisten, neo-nazis C.s. wel meedoen is al een gotspe, maar die willen letterlijk het huidige Europa saboteren met een vage hoop op een toch nieuw "derde rijk".  Hoe je het ook draait of keert, ook een Farange met zijn UKIP is een Britse quasi-neo-nazi vergelijkbaar met de Britse fascisten van het interbellum!  Nee, ik beweer absoluut niet dat alles één op één vergelijkbaar is.  De fascisten van Il Duce anno 1920 waren ook niet gelijkgestemd met de z.g. idealen van Hitler's Nazi Duitsland, evenmin was dat het geval met Japan, net zo min als de Amerikaanse KKK of het zuid Afrikaanse apartheidsbewind en noem maar op.  Maar al die groepen hadden wèldegelijk wederzijdse sympathieën : wij zijn superieur, wij maken de dienst uit, wij hebben schijt aan anderen!
Ook nu weer: zowel Farange met zijn UKIP, Le Pen met haar en papa's FRONT NATIONALE , Geert Wilders en zijn PVV,  maar ook in Hongarije (absolute gotspe!) en elders zoals ook in (nog) niet EU landen als Servië of Ukraine doen fascistoïde nationalisten het goed.  Dat is het nadeel van democratie, helaas. En kan je nationalisten uitbannen? Nee, dat zal het komende decennium naar mijn inschatting juist erger worden.  Nee, ik ben geen pessimist, maar een realist! ;)

En wat was nu het nieuws?  Geert Wilders die behalve met zijn kamerzetel een tigvoud aan bewaking van de belastingbetaler eist - jawel! - wil nu daarenboven zijn zetel en honorarium voor het Europarlement opeisen.  Een zetel in het Europees Parlement waar hij zo faliekant, kont tegen de krib, op tegen is!  Dat noem ik geen gotspe maar onbeschaamde zakkenvullerij!   Net als Farange die naast zijn zetel in het EP ook in een commissie zit en dik zijn zakken vulde met NUL keer aanwezig zijn!  Dat verzin ik niet, dat is een feit!  Gelukkig gaat dit nu veranderen - waar ik vurig voor was - en krijg je dan alléén dat geld als je aanwezig was.  Tenminste.... Je moet nu de presentielijst tekenen. En vervolgens kan je naar de hoeren gaan of wat dan ook, je geld is binnen.  Inderdaad! Daarom ben ik voor méér regels.  Commissie vergaderingen?  Letterlijk in-uit klokken en letterlijk 90% van de vergadering aanwezig geweest zijn of nada! noppes! niks vergoeding waar een bijstandsgezin een hele maand van moet overleven!
Maar wedden dat Geert Wilders behalve het vaste honorarium (al kom je nooit) ook op een commisieplaats zit te azen?  Kassa!  Geen cent naar Griekenland, maar wel XXX.000,-- per jaar per anti Europa afgevaardigde aan honorarium, per diem en reiskosten die NIETS doen!  Behalve zoals Farange, Herman Van Rompuy letterlijk afzeiken en dáármee wereldberoemd worden.  Oh ja, zakkenvullen en afzeiken zijn ook "werk"woorden!  :D

Time for a new blog! :)

I have My Opinions, (mainly in English) funny memories And other laughter (mainly in Dutch) but on world wide news and my questions I had a problem. Questioning isn't exactly sharing my opinions and often not funny at all. :/  So what to do?  I hesitated a long time to ad another blog. But I think that's the best way. So, I've started it.  It won't be a forum-a-like thing, but I sure hope that I'll get more reactions, feedback, comments and even nasty replies (whom I will not delete unless it has nothing to do with my point) than I get on my other blogs.
I will not come up with IMO stupid one-liners with a bla-bla-bla provoking question. No way!  But I will ask each time for YOUR opinion in some way.

So as a kick off, this was the news today?  :)

  Ukraine is getting close to some kind of civil/rebel war.  I wrote something about it in my opinions. At the same time Herman Van Rompuy has been honored (congrats for that!) but seems not to be concerned on Ukraine at all. :/ at least, it doesn't show.  I really wonder why people like Van Rompuy and Kerry are so hush-hush to blame Putin for his right or wrong opinion, but not active in solving the problems with *open * diplomacy.  If I would be appointed or elected president of the EU, I would have been everywhere in Ukraine, Moscow, Brussels or wherever trying to peacefully solve the problems.  Am I naive??? Why do I have to say that as an atheist, not believing in prayers, "Bravo pope Francisco for at least showing a big gesture." And really, I do wish this pope all the best I can wish! I don't believe but THINK that this pope is perhaps the first one to realy become a saint!  No, I will remain an atheist but a great admirer of this pope like I am/was of people like Mahatma Gandhi, Martin Luther King and Desmond Tutu among others, who all "believe(d)" in something I share without a god! Am I naive again???

So that was the news today: deaths in Ukraine, Herman Van Rompuy honored, pope gets Abbas and Peres into a prayer for peace in the Vatican.  Am I  nuts to link those 3 items?
